Final composition and semi- color comps?

Here are a couple of slight variations on my final- this takes elements that you guys said were the best- the only thing now is finding a color balance that works, and really gives the 1960's feeling to the poster- you will see there is a difference with the placement of the flight attendances and Leo above title treatment as well as the one below- i am leaning towards the one with them placed below- and I believe I will make the actor's credits a little bit darker, but i like that it matches the blue background- might have to make it all a little darker- Also...are the stripes coming out the back of the plane cheezy?- just noticing tangents with title treatment and walken's glass and Hank's jacket- I will fix that

Crits needed! Thanks guys

revised sketches- hopefully get the final started after this

hey guys, took all the great crits you all gave, and here is the composition i think will do the trick, now here is the matter of the details- should I keep the check? if so where? What about the type choice- for a frame of reference- I am going for a blend of 1960's movie poster with Drew Struzan technique. What about the gesture figures? And color comps?

Thanks guys!

Hey guys- a new blog that will only be used for this purpose

hey guys i need to get these sketches up here so I could get some crits on them before I move forward with transferring them to the final surface- it will be acrylic and color pencil. This is going to be a christmas gift for my dad who loves the movie Catch me if you can with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks- the posters for this movie were bland, and considering it was Spielberg, and spielberg uses Struzan..or did at least, I wanted to do something Struzan-esque. Along with doing it that way, traditionally, I wanted to do something that was 1960's inspired, so I have been gathering reference

Please crit away!!
